Accountability
Corrections Policy
We aim to be accurate. Every guide on this site states the assumptions and conventions it's built on, and we correct errors promptly when they're brought to our attention.
How to report an error
If you spot a factual error (an outdated measurement conversion, a superseded fabric-care instruction, a misstated sizing detail), email aroharadiance@gmail.com or use the Contact page with the guide title and the specific claim. We will verify and, where a correction is needed, update the guide and note the change with its date.
Review timeline
We aim to acknowledge correction reports within a few business days. Straightforward factual or calculation errors are typically corrected within one to two weeks; issues that require re-checking a formula against multiple worked examples may take longer.
Correction process
- We reproduce the issue using the inputs you reported.
- We check the underlying formula or content against its documented assumptions.
- We fix the code, content, or both, and re-run the automated test suite for that calculator.
- We update the page's last-updated date to reflect the correction.
Change-log rules
We don't silently change a published formula or worked example. Any correction that changes a calculator's output updates that page's last-updated date, and significant corrections are noted in the relevant guide.
Things that change over time
Fabric widths, sizing conventions, and regional styling and care norms referenced on this site can vary and change. Guides carry a last-updated date so you can see how current a figure is, but always confirm your own measurements and check specifics with your tailor or fabric seller before making a purchase or budgeting decision.
What we can't fix
Our calculators are planning estimates built on general conventions, not personalized professional advice. Where a result differs from your specific tailor, fabric, or situation, that's expected variation, not necessarily an error. See the relevant tool's Assumptions and Limitations sections for what the estimate does and doesn't account for.
